Richard has done a fabulous job transforming the roundabout this year, below pics taken in May and January..
Ruth has been busy again this afternoon and this evening de-weeding the cobblestones. Doing a fantastic job, but a mammoth task and some help would be much appreciated.....
Queen Mary garden is looking gorgeous this year, best it has looked in ages, thanks to the care given by MTC Richard. Planting in middle bed is to perfection, grass looking great with neatly trimmed edges. Roses looking and smelling good. Set off by the skilfully painted railings by "I Want to Paint it Black" Ruth, not too mention the gold tips!
Local artist Jo Gruenegan has done a brilliant job painting on flower filled window boxes - looks stunning now!
Photographs taken after Ruth had been working hard weeding the edge of the cobblestones leading to St Michael's Church..
Kathy and Sam did a brilliant job this morning - in the cold rain - creating windows with a bit of paint brush magic - looks fabulous, but one more to come - watch this space!
Last week, SWIB Melksham Chair Kathy Iles appealed via Melksham News for volunteers to help tackle the unsightly Market Tavern patio. Since it's closure last December, the patio area slabs are rife with weeds and the planters are rotting and falling to pieces. This afternoon Bloomers, new volunteers including the very young, turned up to make this area look a lot tidier. Massive thanks to everybody who helped out. Still more work required to complete our objective (click on photo to view full image)
MTC's Bill, Ben and Little Richard giving Prince of Wales Garden a tidy up, this garden is due for a makeover later in the year......
Terri has planted marigolds in Friends Garden today, which had been kindly donated by Teresa Strange. The climbing roses are doing well, infact garden looking great...….
Richard (MTC) has completed his stunning Bee construction after painting the wings and legs, but still a lot of work to bee done keeping the flowers trimmed. Looks absolutely amazing....
As well as painting lamp posts round town this morning, Ruth has also painted the gold tips on the railing she had previously painted round Queen Mary Garden. Brilliant job Ruth.
