Chain saw massacre came to mind when I saw this in my lunch-break, but as I am not a tree expert this is probably not a massacre, just the right thing to do, and I have never see the film!! After work photograph.
Lunch-time walk to see if the work had started on pruning the poplars - still intact for now! The park and river looked lovely in todays sunshine, the path renovated by Lackham College foundation students looks so much better now. What a lovely setting for the annual Food & River Festival which is just 12 weeks away!
Brilliant work carried out by Carl and Terri on Waitrose Corner, which for sometime has been an eyesore. Terri was also busy out with the bowser doing some watering. Great job on this hot Sunday....

Wetherspoons - The Bear always create a beautiful display of hanging baskets, window boxes and planters.
Every day a little more colour is added to the town, today the hanging baskets have been going up. Melksham Town Council Caretakers doing a great job with the beautiful baskets grown and prepared by Old Milestone Nursery. Great teamwork for Melksham enhancement.
Massive thanks to Melksham Bloomers and volunteers who turned up on this hot Sunday afternoon for tidy town day, great job done in various locations round town.
