Richard & Luca braved the gale force winds and rain today. Took down the Town Hall window boxes, then replanted the grasses in the raised tropical garden by the splashpad & The Cricketers in King George Field.

Excerpt from the Wiltshire Times 30/4/1955 "The garden has been made from a small piece of spare ground at the entrance to King George's Field. With crazy pathing and the profusion of hydrangeas, rhododendrons, fuchsia and polyanthus growing there it forms an attractive beauty spot in the centre of town. About 200 people were present at the opening, which was performed by Mr L J Noad, Chairman of the Urban Council. Richard and Luca tidy path and rose beds in the open cemetery, also relay the slabs ready to install a new bench to replace the one that was stolen...
